The Pan-American or Pan American Games are a major event in the all the American Continent, in which thousands of athletes participate in a variety of competitions. The Pan American Games are the second largest multi-sport event after the Summer Olympics. This year is being held in Guadalajara, Mexico. There are over 5,000 athletes that compete at the Pan American Games in 36 different sports and nearly 400 events, so Mexico is hosting athletes all from the USA, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Chile.
